Howdy,
I bet a few of you are wondering where I’ve been the last week? Well, to make a long story short, away from the world of comics. I took some time to take stock of my current path, question the reasoning behind my latest decisions and drink some beer with friends.
The most important conclusion I’ve come to so far is one that I hope renews my drive to draw and be funny: I’m doing this for no one other than me. I purposely avoided the comments section on GoComics all week as I took another break from comics, to see if I’d feel any better about things. I can tell you, without a doubt, I feel 100% better. From now on, whatever my decisions are regarding my comics and comedy, they will be made with me and my family’s best interests in mind. I do appreciate the fans and those who support FRS comics, but in the end, this is my ship to sink.
Thought I share that, as you won’t see me too much around the comments forums on too many websites in the near future. I need to work on what’s next for me and the idiotic and somewhat mean-spirited public discourse of the Intertubes just doesn’t fit into that equation.
With that said, let’s get to what’s happening in the Fake Rockstar Universe.
COMICS: BARKEATER LAKE continues it’s path of destruction, but probably only three days a week, at least for the next two weeks. GREENE WITH ENVY will try and update M,W,F, but it’s lowest on the totem pole right now, so don’t be surprised by lack of updates. TOBY will be M, W, F until Halloween, where he’ll scale back to once a week. Probably Mondays. I need the time to work on other pitches and writing and that can only be accomplished through less free content.
PRE-ORDERS: Return to BL is currently hovering around 235 orders, so we’re 65 from out goal of 300. CHPMNK Militia has a few more to go with only 226 pre-ordered.
SHIPPING: Any orders from the last month and half have shipped and any orders place with in the last two and half weeks will ship today. Some orders were shipped via parcel post, so please give the post office at least 14 days to get your order to you.
